Maria is ten and she lives in Brazil.One day her teacher Mrs.Fernandez says, “Tomorrow we are visiting a rainforest”.The children are very excited. They love going on trips.So next day they all get on the bus, mums and dads are saying goodbye. In the bus Mrs.Fernandez talks about the rainforests: “Rainforests are very important. A lot of animals and plants live there”. “Wow” says Maria.Two hours later the bus stops. All children climb down the steps of the bus.They see trees, monkeys (That are very noisy), a toucan and a butterfly .When they arrive at the river Maria looks at Pablo . He doesn´t look very well.Then Miguel asks Mrs.Fernandez “Are there any fish in the rainforest?” “Yes Miguel, and in some rivers there are piranhas” says Mrs.Fernandez. Suddenly, Pablo falls to the ground.Everybody runs to him.Then a boy appears through the trees. “Hello, my name is Namou. I live here. My grandma can help this boy. Come with me everyone.” Namou goes with his Grandma. Grandma helps Pablo. Pablo feels much better now. “We can protect the Rainforest”says Maria. “Yes,we can tell everyone the story of the rainforest and Pablo” says Mrs. Fernandez.
