A TRIP TO THE RAINFOREST

This is Maria. She lives in Brazil. She is ten years old. One day Mrs. Fernandez says "Tomorrow we are going to a rainforest". The children say"Hurray" . The next day the moms and dads are waiving good bye. "Have a nice trip". Mrs. Fernandez talks about the rainforest. In the rainforest there are animals and many tall trees. Mrs. Fernandez talks about the trees. There are rubber, cocoa, vanilla and avocado trees. Miguel sees a butterfly and Juanita sees a bird. “What's that Mrs.Fernandez?” “It's a toucan, Juanita.” Maria hears a loud noise. "What is this Mrs. Fernandez" “It’s a monkey, Maria.” “Are there fish in the rainforest, Mrs. Fernandez?” “Yes, Miguel. There are piranhas”. Maria asks Pablo "Are you ok?" “No, I don’t feel very well” "Oh no! Let' s tell Mrs.Fernandez?” “No, don"worry. I'm okey". Then Pablo falls to the ground. “Oh no , Mrs. Fernandez! Pablo is ill”. Then a Yanomami boy says "Hello, my name is Namou! I live in the rainforest. My grandma can help this boy. She knows a lot of things. Come with me everyone.” " I know what you need ". The grandma goes to a tree a looks for a plant and makes tea for Pablo. He drinks the tea and he is much better now. Maria says “Yes let`s go back to the city and tell everyone.

Maria is ten and she lives in Brazil.One day her teacher Mrs.Fernandez says, “Tomorrow we are visiting a rainforest”.The children are very excited. They love going on trips.So next day they all get on the bus, mums and dads are saying goodbye. In the bus Mrs.Fernandez talks about the rainforests: “Rainforests are very important. A lot of animals and plants live there”. “Wow” says Maria.Two hours later the bus stops. All children climb down the steps of the bus.They see trees, monkeys (That are very noisy), a toucan and a butterfly .When they arrive at the river Maria looks at Pablo . He doesn´t look very well.Then Miguel asks Mrs.Fernandez “Are there any fish in the rainforest?” “Yes Miguel, and in some rivers there are piranhas” says Mrs.Fernandez. Suddenly, Pablo falls to the ground.Everybody runs to him.Then a boy appears through the trees. “Hello, my name is Namou. I live here. My grandma can help this boy. Come with me everyone.” Namou goes with his Grandma. Grandma helps Pablo. Pablo feels much better now. “We can protect the Rainforest”says Maria. “Yes,we can tell everyone the story of the rainforest and Pablo” says Mrs. Fernandez.

“This is a rubber tree. Tthis is a vanilla tree. This is a cocoa tree and an avocado tree”. They see the toucan and the frog. “These are monkeys” says the teacher. “These are piranhas. They are very dangerous”.Maria says “Are you fine Pablo?” He says “Yes, I am fine.” Pablo falls to the ground. Maria says to the teacher.

And a boy says “This way we have medicine.“ And his grandmother gives medicine to Pablo. And Pablo feels better.

RAMON SEES A BUTTERFLY . MIGUEL SEES A TREE FROG AND JUANITA SEES A TOUCAN.

THEN THE CLASS SEES MONKEYS.

THEN THEY WALK NEAR A RIVER. THEN MRS FERNANDEZ TALKS ABOUT THE YANOMAMI.

MARIA ASKS PABLO “ARE YOU OKEY?” " NO " AND PABLO FALLS TO THE GROUND.

THEN A YANOMAMI APPEARS "HELLO I’M NAMOU. I CAN HELP YOU .”

NAMOU’S GRANDMA GIVES PABLO TEA.

PABLO FEELS WELL AND MRS FERNANDEZ IS HAPPY.

One day when she is at school her teacher, Mrs.Fernandez, says “Tomorrow we are going on a trip.We are visiting a rainforest.” All the children are very excited. They love going on trips. When the children are in the bus, they go. All the mums and dads are waving “Goodbye !!!!!Have a nice trip!” And they go. In the bus Mrs.Fernandez says “In the rainforest it rains a lot. It rains for 200 days every year. Also, there are many plants and animals.” Maria is amazed.Two hours later the bus stops. Mrs.Fernandez and the children go on a path.They see many trees like avocado and rubber, they can also see many animals like toucans, frogs, monkeys and butterflies.The path go near a river.Mrs.Fernandez says “Iin the rivers there are piranhas “Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!” Then Pablo falls to the ground. Maria says “Help, Mrs.Fernandez Pablo is ill.” And they all run to him.Then they hear a noise from the trees. It is a young Yanomami boy.The Yanomami says “Hello. My name is Namou. My grandmother can help that boy to feel better.” Grandmother says “I know what you need”. Then the grandmother cuts some leaves.Pablo says “Thanks. I feel better now.” Maria says “Now we have to go to the city and tell all about the rainforest.”

One day in Brazil a girl named Maria is at school and Mrs Fernandez says “Tomorrow we are going on a trip” “Hurray” shout the children. In the morning they get in the bus. Mrs Fernandez talks about the rainforest. She says that in the rainforest it rains for 200 days. They climb down the steps of the bus. In the rainforest Maria asks, “Why is it dark, Mrs Fernandez?” “Because the light can´t come in”. Juanita sees a tree frog and Pablo sees a toucan. They see a rubber, cocoa and vanilla tree. They go on a path and see a river. In the river there are piranhas. They walk and see monkeys. Maria asks Pablo “Are you OK?” “No”. “I am going to tell Mrs Fernandez” “No, I am OK”. And Pablo falls to the ground. Maria shout “Mrs Fernandez, Pablo is ill”. And a Yanomami says “I know what you need”. They go with Namou’s grandma. With some leaves she makes tea. Namou’s grandma gives the tea to Pablo, and Pablo says “Thanks”.

Pablo and Maria and Mrs Fernandez go to the rainforest.

Maria is sitting next to Pablo, and the fathers and mothers say goodbye! Pablo is not very well. Mrs Fernandez talks about cocoa, rubber, avocado and vanilla trees. So they see animals butterflies, frogs, monkeys and piranhas. Pablo is not very well and Maria says “Mrs Fernandez” Pablo falls and a Yanomami appears and takes them to his house.

Namou´s grandma gives tea to Pablo and he feels well.

One day in Brazil, at school, Mrs. Fernandez says, “Tomorrow we are going to the rainforest”. So next day they sit in the school bus. In the path, the teacher talks about the rainforest. It rains 200 days every year. When they get there, they walk and walk. Two minutes later, Maria asks Pablo “Are you okay?” He says “No.” “Can I do anything?” “No, don’t worry. I’m okay.” So, one hour later Pablo falls to the ground. “Mrs. Fernandez, Pablo is ill.” “Oh, no! What can we do? The bus is not coming for two hours.” They hear a noise from the trees. It is a Yanomami. He’s a boy, his name is Namou. “My grandmother can help that boy get better. Come with me everyone.” So they go to the house and grandma takes some leaves and makes tea for Pablo. He drinks it all. In a few minutes, he smiles “Thank you, I feel better.”

Mrs. Fernandez talks about the rainforest during the bus trip. Pablo doesn’t say anything because he doesn’t feel very well. Two hours later, the bus stops. Maria and her friends climb down the steps of the bus. They stop and look at the rainforest. Mrs. Fernandez talks about trees: “We get a lot of things from these trees like rubber, cocoa and vanilla. We can also get fruit, like avocados. Miguel asks “Does this river have fish?” “Yes, and some rivers have piranhas in them, Miguel. Piranhas like to eat meat. So don’t go near the river.” Pablo is under the tree. He’s not feeling well. Maria sees Pablo and asks “What’s the matter Pablo?” “I don’t feel very well” “Oh, now let’s go to tell Mrs. Fernandez” “No, I’m ok”. Mrs. Fernandez talks about the Yanomami. Pablo falls to the ground. “Help, Mrs. Fernandez! Pablo is ill.” The children and Mrs. Fernandez go running to help Pablo. She is very worried. The teacher hears a voice from behind the trees. It is a young Yanomami. The boy says: “I can help the boy get better. Everyone come with me.” The boy takes them to his grandma. She goes to a small plant, picks one leaf and makes tea. Pablo drinks it all and feels better.

Next day they all go into the school bus. Maria looks at Pablo. Pablo doesn´t feel very well. Mrs. Fernandez, Maria´s teacher, talks about the rainforest. When they arrive, the children see an avocado tree, a vanilla tree and they see animals ( a toucan, a butterfly, a frog and monkeys). The children are very happy. Miguel asks “ Are there many fish in the rainforest Mrs. Fernandez?” “Oh yes. There are piranhas.The piranhas like to eat meat. The piranhas are dangerous. Do not go near the river.” In a few minutes Pablo falls to the ground. The class hears a noise from behind the trees. It is a young Yanomami boy. The Yanomami boy says “ My grandmother can give medicine to Pablo.” They all follow the Yanomami boy and find her house. The grandmother gives tea of leaves to Pablo. In two minutes he is fine and very happy. they say “ Thank you!”. “Yes, Pablo. The jungle has a lot of medicine!”, says the grandmother. Maria says “Let´s go to the city and tell everything” “Yes!” says Mrs. Fernandez. And they all go into the school bus
